The Reading Room – #2

Encuentros de lecturas.

(English below)

The Reading Room #2.

Interested in the processes of simultaneous translation and interpretation (english-spanish), I have invited colleagues from the artistic residence in Hangar to read excerpts from the books: Brandon LaBelle’s Room Tone, The Order of Sounds a Sonorous Archipelago by François J Bonnet, Figures in Air: Essays Toward a Philosophy of Audio by Micah Silver. Published in English those books were fundamental readings to composed the theoretical body of my final master work in Sound Art entitled: Talking about space is boring, talking about a site is more interesting or how I heard the Black Sheep in my room.
