Sound check.

The hole action has its origin in the impossibility of making it real. The initial aim was to make an acoustic test/ sound check of an specific room of the Convent of San Agustín via the sound of a drummer and a boxer hitting his bag. Given the technical difficulty of installing the punching bag in the chapel’s ceiling, a new performance was born.

In this new action I exposed all the problems I have encountered all around the building to make my performance possible. Plus, in the script I add some additional info about historical data, technical architectural descriptions, measurements of spaces, positions of body in the space.

The final script acquired a double meaning, on the one hand a critique of the institutional norms to make my first idea reality and on the other the creation of a funny game / tale on imagination and listening fiction.
